The hotel guy was very helpful, we arrived after official check in, but he left the keys in the self check in box. Also he moved us away from the street to avoid noise coming from it.

The owner lives on property and he’s been working on up dating the property. My room the bath area was separate the shower/tub and toilet was in one room and lavatory was on which is good if your a couple

I recently stayed at the Sunbeam Motel in San Luis Obispo and couldn’t have been happier with my experience. The rooms were super clean and cozy, making it easy to relax after a long day of exploring the area. The location is spot-on, close to all the best spots in town, yet tucked away enough to be nice and quiet at night. What stood out, though, was the staff. The cleaning crew did an amazing job each day, ensuring everything was spotless and comfortable. And I can’t say enough good things about Jerry, the property manager. He was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed, even sharing some great local tips. If you’re looking for a place that’s clean, convenient, and run by genuinely caring people, I’d highly recommend the Sunbeam Motel. It’s a little gem in San Luis Obispo!
